We always see the word "pavé," but what does it mean? Pavé is a setting style and means "pavement" in French. The gemstones are set close together in a manner that resembles a diamond (or in this case, zircon) road.
The gemstones on our signet ring are zircon, which is one of the oldest and naturally occurring gemstones in the world - even older than a diamond. It is an underrated gemstone that has been worn and cherished since ancient times. People often confuse it with cubic zirconia, which is a man-made synthetic gemstone, although they are not the same.
